We diagnose jaw disorders through a variety of tests and examinations. This can include physical exams, X-rays, examining your lifestyle and habits, and assessing your level of stress.

TMD treatment depends on the severity of your symptoms and the cause of the inflammation in the joint. Common treatments include pain and anti-inflammatory medication, stress reduction techniques, orthodontic appliances to correct bite and alignment issues, massage and physiotherapy and exercises you can do at home.
